+ Robert (Bob) Scaman - President
Bob, along with his brothers Rodney and Rick, started Goodness Greeness in 1991. Bob has been instrumental in moving the company forward to become the premier supplier of organic food in the Midwest. As president, Bob oversees the day-to-day operations of the company and works with suppliers to ensure that Goodness Greeness makes available the freshest and widest variety of organic foods to its customers. Bob is committed to informing consumers about the benefits and availability of organic food through the company\'s website and newsletters. Bob and Goodness Greeness also support Midwest farmers through buying as much locally produced organic food as possible and by sponsoring groups like Farm Aid that help America\'s family farmers.

+ Rick Scaman - Vice President
Rick serves as Vice President and oversees the company\'s Transportation Department. He also helps support the company\'s connection to family farms. Rick drove the Goodness Greeness truck with donated food items from the local 2005 Farm Aid Concert, which brought relief to family farm victims in rural Alabama following Hurricane Katrina. Rick and his wife Lori, spend most of their free time involved with their children\'s sports. Their eldest child, Gabrielle, plays travelling club volleyball. Haley, their middle child, is a competitive gymnast, who competes all over the country and occasionally internationally. Their youngest Hunter is involved in skateboarding, baseball, and loves to be outdoors with his dad. Hunter has also been featured in several ads for Goodness Greeness. On that rare occasion when Rick has some free time for himself, he enjoys being out in the woods, close to nature.

+ Rodney Scaman - Purchasing/Sales
A co-founder of Goodness Greeness, Rodney has won the Chicago Tribune\'s Good Eating Award and been selected for Produce Business\'s \"Top 40 Under Forty\" list. With almost two decades of buying experience, Rodney has become our expert with regards to organic potatoes, onions and citrus. In his free time you can find him at the ballpark or attending local concerts

+ Dan Mannella - Sales/Purchasing
Dan has worked in the produce industry for the last 20 years, learning both the conventional and organic businesses. Dan felt especially drawn to the organic side of the business and so decided to pursue a career at Goodness Greeness in the sales department. After 2 years of running the repack program he moved to the sales office and is proud to be selling the finest organic produce available in the Midwest. Dan feels strongly that by promoting organic produce, he is promoting the health of the planet for his wife, Gina, and his young children Anthony and Mia.

+ Denise Glandon - Sales/Purchasing
Denise joined GG in June of 2006. She\'s been buying organic produce for 20 years because she believes it\'s healthier and she wants to help support the farmers who grow sustainably. In 1990 Denise helped start The Herbal Garden as a grower and customer service associate. In addition to promoting organic food, Denise designs and makes women\'s and girl\'s clothing with 100% organic fabric and enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews.

+ Steve Urback - Sales/Purchasing
Steve came to Goodness Greeness with a strong retail produce and grocery background. He has over 17 years experience and has worked for three other large retailers and wholesalers in the Midwest. His understanding of the business allows him to offer great service to our retail accounts. Steve is an avid fisherman, especially for Musky, and gardener, and spends many hours on both of these hobbies.

+ Jim Lawdenski - Truck Dispatch/Purchasing
Jim started at Goodness Greeness in August of 2006. After 27 years in retail produce he felt it was time for a change. Goodness Greeness, being in the forefront of organic produce, seemed like a great place to start his second career. When not at work, you might find him reading fiction or watching bad B science fiction or horror movies. He and his wife, Elvira, have two musically talented children, Elizabeth & Nate. A lemon beagle and a bearded dragon fill out the family as their beloved pets.

+ Ben Perkins - Purchasing/Sales
Ben got his first taste of the natural food industry by working at health food stores throughout the Midwest. Upon his arrival in Chicago in spring of 2000, Ben joined the sales staff of Goodness Greeness. Over the course of the next five years Ben\'s knowledge about the industry helped catapult him to become the top sales person in the company. Ben\'s hard work and passion continue to pay off. In his spare time Ben enjoys composing film soundtracks and performing on the upright bass.

+ Bridget Melvin - Accounts Receivable
Bridget came on at Goodness Greeness in 1996 and for over a decade now has been a member of the office staff. She likes the people at GG and understands the benefits of organic food and farming. Bridget knows how to have a good time and she loves to shop and cook (good hobbies if you work in produce). She considers the success she\'s had at her job in here at GG to be a one of her most significant accomplishments.

+ Valerie Pehler - Accounts Payable
Val started work for Goodness Greeness back in September of 2002 and has over 30 years of experience in Accounting. She was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago and enjoys bowling and knows how to work the casinos. Val comes from a very big family. She has 21 nieces and nephews, which keeps her very happy and very busy in her spare time.

+ Maria Gonzalez - Inventory Control/Organic Certification
Maria started with Goodness Greeness in 1998 in the accounts payable area. She has served the company in many roles, and now manages the company\'s organic certifications and inventory control. When not at work, Maria enjoys spending time with her two nieces Ashley and Yazmin.

+ Lakisha McGowan - Repack Manager
When Lakisha joined the company she brought with her a decade of experience in customer service. Her dedication and hard work soon paid off as she was promoted to repack manager in 2005, where she is proud to supervise a fantastic crew. Lakisha enjoys spending time with her two children and reading novels, especially those that keep you guessing what\'s coming next!

+ Sheila Malick - Office Manager
With her breadth of experience, Sheila offers a wealth of knowledge to everyone at Goodness Greeness. So much so that she is know as the \"Warehouse Mama\" to all her \"children\" in the company. Her career started over 35 years ago with another produce house and 1991 she joined the Scaman\'s in the new Goodness Greeness venture. Sheila has worked in almost every area of the company over the past fifteen years. She currently oversees the accounts payable and receivable area and is the office manager. In her spare time she loves music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
