Get Local

Since 1991 Goodness Greeness has collaborated in all sectors of the organic marketplace to strengthen the infrastructure and facilitate the growth of the organic food system. The local and regional farmers that deliver the freshest and most delicious product to our region are a vital part of this system, and their way of farming in an invaluable component of a better future. When we connect our taste buds to a local item, we become aware of the neglected connection between our dinner plates and the history and strength of our region. Goodness Greeness is happy to announce the current acreage of our regional food program for 2010, and we look forward to watching it grow.

Savory Sensations
In October of 2009, Goodness Greeness entered into the herb category with the hopes of extending our repack presence in the marketplace with our line of quality herbs, sourced internationally and locally when possible. Our success has far exceeded our expectations, which lead us to expand our operation to include another facility in Woodstock, IL devoted entirely to our herbs. The dedicated herb packing facility is housed on a former Herbal Garden site, and is staffed by a highly experienced team familiar with the facility. We are excited to welcome this new team into the GG family, and we are transitioning our herb line to the brand Savory Sensations over the next two months. In addition to our herb team, this label will also be supported with an informational website: www.savorysensations.com.

Local Is Thriving

Due to this year’s great weather conditions, we are also excited to announce that we are shipping LOCAL HERBS grown at our Woodstock facility.
